Bungcwele Swaphi
Bungcwele is a calm and kind five-year-old who is often seen with a beautiful smile on her face. She continues to grow steadily in both her academic skills and personal confidence. Her warm and inclusive nature is evident in the way she engages with her classmates — she enjoys spending time with everyone and does not limit herself to just one special friend.
In the classroom, Bungcwele is developing strong early literacy and numeracy skills. She is learning to write her name and other letters, can recite and recognize several letter sounds, and enjoys copying names and words from reading materials. She is also beginning to read her classmates’ names by identifying their first letters.
In numeracy, Bungcwele can confidently count from 1–100, recognize numbers from 1–50, count from 0–20, skip count in 5s, and count backwards from 5–0. She is also practicing simple addition and learning to write from left to right while confidently following patterns.
Bungcwele takes great pride in helping others and carries her classroom responsibilities with care. She faithfully assists in cleaning and organizing the second language area and enjoys helping to bring water during outdoor play. Her gentle spirit, steady progress, and willingness to serve are a beautiful reflection of her growing confidence and development this year.
