Whether you are an individual or a business, partnering with Life Child means investing in long-term, sustainable change for children and communities.

Together, we strengthen families, build schools, and create environments where children can flourish.

You can partner with Life Child through a one-time donation, monthly giving, or annual support. As our work grows, so does the need for sustainable facilities and programmes.

General Donation

By giving a general donation, you support our work where the need is greatest – improving the health, well-being, and education of orphaned and vulnerable children and strengthening the communities around them.

New ECD in Chimoio, Mozambique

New Early Childhood Development Centre in Chimoio, Mozambique

Your support helps build a new ECD Centre in Chimoio, providing holistic education and care to 60 children aged 3-5 years in a community with limited access to early learning opportunities.

Get Up. Build Up. Step Up: 13 Peaks Challenge

We are raising £32,072 (approximately $43,300 / R722,800 / €36,900) to purchase land and build a home and community hub in Philippi, Cape Town.

This facility will support early childhood development, family strengthening, and long-term community resilience.

WAYS TO PARTNER:

You can partner by contributing monthly to any area of Life Child outside the specific monthly child-sponsoring program.

Invite Life Child to share the vision and mission with your board or employees. Participate in any of our Life Child events and become Event Sponsors or host your own fundraising events.

Encourage your employees to become Life Child Champions and host their own fundraising events or initiatives and encourage them by offering a matching gift.

Make a monthly/ yearly contribution to the work of Life Child or partner with a specific building project.

Provide financial support for specific or general areas of the work of Life Child or host fundraising events.

Foundations that are currently partnering or have in the past include the Birtcher Family Foundation, Mergon Foundation, and FairTree Foundation.

For example, in South Africa, as we are registered as a Cluster Foster Scheme with the Department of Social Development, we are provided with various support from this department towards our foster homes.

Invite a Life Child representative to come and share the heart of Life Child with your mission’s team or congregation.

Ways to partner include sponsoring children, joining in our events, or launching our campaigns. We would also love to receive you on Mission Trips to any of the four countries in Africa where we work.

You are welcome to host your own events in support of Life Child, such as Motion Church in the Netherlands, which hosts their own Sponsor Run and Bake Sale every year, or Legacy Church in the UK, which hosts their Freedom Event. In the past, Cathedral of Faith Church in the USA has hosted numerous ‘Concerts for Change’.

Your school or individual classrooms can all get involved by inviting Life Child to come and share the vision with the students, teachers, and parents. You can also encourage a class or classes to sponsor a child or children together.

Another way is to participate in our Life Child events or host your own fundraising events or activities. For example, Welgemoed Primary School and Camps Bay Prep have both participated in our previous Walk For Little Feet Events, allowed us to share at the school, and put together fantastic shoe box gifts for the Life Child children filled with items such as stationery and clothes.

‘Gift-in-kind’ is a type of charitable giving in which contributions take the form of tangible goods rather than money — whether that be supplies, equipment, materials, or services and time

We invite you to make the decision to leave a legacy that lasts and makes an impact on future generations. Legacy giving refers to donations that you can plan to give to Life Child after your passing/ to be included in your will.

You can choose to support Life Child by giving stocks

Donating stocks is a powerful way to make a lasting impact. When you give appreciated stocks, you may receive significant tax benefits while helping orphaned and vulnerable children access education, nutrition, health care, and hope for a brighter future.

Donate Stocks

As our Foster Home/ Residential children in Mozambique and South Africa are growing up and starting to leave High School to further their education, we believe in supporting them in that crucial transition from teenager into adulthood. We want to help them whether they decide to go to University/ College or Trade School.
