Because of God’s love for us, he sent his son, Jesus, as a sacrifice for our sins. And now we get to love him and be with him. News like this is worth sharing! Here, you’ll find Bible verses about spreading the gospel and examples of what sharing the good news looks like.

Mark 16:15 (NIV)
“Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.”
After Jesus rose from the dead, he gave his disciples this commission: to go and preach the gospel to everyone. As Christians, we’re his disciples too. So this commission is also for us.
1 Peter 3:15 (NIV)
“But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect.”
When you follow Jesus and let him change your heart, you’ll look and act differently. You’ll have joy in the midst of difficult circumstances. You’ll have hope during chaos. When people ask how you can have joy and hope when things are bleak, it’s an opportunity to share Jesus with them.
Ephesians 2:10 (NIV)
“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”
Sometimes, you may feel inadequate to share the gospel with others. But God created you to respond to the good news of the gospel by sharing its message and helping those in need. In fact, he’s already planned opportunities for you to reach others for Jesus!
