Your gift can help build an Early Childhood Development Centre in Chimoio, Mozambique,  and give 60 children the chance to learn, grow, and thrive.

With your support, we will construct a purpose-built ECD Centre with two classrooms, enabling three classes per day for 60 children aged 3 to 5. This centre will provide a safe, nurturing learning environment during the most critical years of a child’s development.

The full construction process will take approximately six and a half months and requires £63,019 to complete. Every donation directly contributes to creating a space where 60 young children can receive quality early education and care.

Our work in Chimoio, in the Manica Region of Mozambique, responds to a deep and urgent need. Many families in this community are affected by HIV/AIDS, high mortality rates, and social instability linked to trafficking routes through the region, leaving 60 vulnerable children in particular need of protection and support.

The Kacimba ECD Centre (meaning Life) will offer Montessori-style early education combined with holistic care. Teachers do more than educate. They walk alongside 60 children and their families, offering guidance, support, and pastoral care that extends from the classroom into the family and the wider community.
